Bonnie camp Kalas Island is a wildlife adventure tour of Sundarban. Bonnie Camp, is one of the attractive wild watchtowers in the Sundarbans. This watchtower is 50 feet high. This is the highest watchtower in the Sundarbans. There is also a nice sweet water pond. The animals come here for drinking water. If you spend overnight at this near camp you feel fear of tigers and various types of wild sounds. In the moonlight the beauty of the jungle unforgettable in your life.

The best time to visit Bonnie Camp is between September and May. Kalas Island Located on the banks of the Bay of Bengal and lying beside it the Kalash beach. over an area of 4 acres. Although it is well protected with a fence of 10 feet high and 20 feet trench. It is still believed to be not enough to prevent Royal Bengal Tigers from coming to the beach. In search of the sweet water pond located there. Such is the adventure that defines an outing in Kalash Island. Tourists are restricted from touring the beach must be assisted by forest rangers as the island is often visited by the Royal Bengal tigers.

Never compare Sundarbans national park to others. It is totally different type of jungle safari to other Tiger hot spots of India.

Day 1

Our 2 night  3 Days Bonnie camp Kalas Island Package Tour

 starts from Kolkata or canning station.

Morning at 7.30 is with a warm welcome. Pickup from Kolkata (for Canning Package, from Canning by Auto) by an exclusive vehicle and drive to Jharkhali. A journey of about 4 hours.

11 am reach Jharkhali ( Entry point of Sundarban).

We transfer guests from jharkhali to Bonniecamp

Welcome Drinks.

Fish Fry and Tea.

1 pm Lunch on the boat.

4.00 pm Reach Bonnie camp. Visit Bonnie camp watchtower. Back to the boat. evening enjoy the beauty and silence of the jungle,

6.30 pm Snacks with tea.

9 pm dinner.

You may see herds of Deer, many Birds, and other animals here. The ideal time to visit this place is early morning, as the animals generally avoid the scorching sun of the noons.

After watching the watch tower or next spot is bonnie camp, a long boat ride from Netidhopani, and reach 4.00 pm.

Day 2

6.30 am -Bed tea.

Today our destination is Kalas Camp and Kalash Beach.

8.30 am breakfast.

ABOUT  KALAS  CAMP AND  WATCHTOWER:

Kalash Island ---Located on the banks of the Bay of Bengal is the Kalash camp and lying beside it is the Kalash beach. over an area of 4 acres. It is well protected with a fence of 10 feet high and 20 feet trench. 

Restricted

Tourists are restricted from touring the beach and must be assisted by forest rangers as the island is often visited by the Royal Bengal tigers.

Species:

Royal Bengal  Saltwater Crocodiles,  leopards, King Cobras, and Indian Cobras. Sundarbans is home to many different species of birds, mammals, insects, reptiles, and fishes.

  • 120 species of fish
  • 260 species of birds have been recorded in the Sundarbans.
  • The Gangetic River Dolphin (Platanista Gangetic) is common in the rivers.
  • 50 species of reptiles and eight species of amphibians are known to occur.
  • The Sundarbans now support the only population of the Estuarine, or Salt-Water Crocodile (Crocodylus para sus) in India,
  • The park is also home to sea gypsy fishing families who catch fish using trained otters.

1.00 pm Lunch. 4.30 pm back to bonnie camp.

6.30 pm Snacks with tea.

9.00 pm we serve dinner. Night stay inside the boat at Bonnie Camp river channel.

Day 3 :

6.30 am tea. today is our return journey. a long drive from Bonnie camp to Jhorkhali jetty.

breakfast and lunch will serve on the boat.

bonnie camp to Kaikhali ashram to Jharkhali (tiger watch) and reach to Jharkhali afternoon  at 4.00 pm
