Burir Dabri WATCHTOWER

This watchtower is located eastern part of Sundarban. It is famous for its watch tower and mud walk. Also viewpoint of the Raymangal River. From this watchtower, you can see the Sundarbans ecosystem.

 Harikhali Watchtower

Harikhali is a Range office of the eastern part of Sundarbans. In this part of Sundarbans, you also see deer, fishing cats, and monitor lizards and snakes.

Harinbhanga, tourists can see a variety of birds. Mangrove trees, Estuarine Crocodile and Dolphin.  History, and culture is very attractive. Subdarban offbeat tour a trip of lonely long boat drive to Sundarban delta area.  It will be an adventure tour.

1st Day –

2nd Day –

Marirjhapi, Bagna ,  Jjile river, Roymangal river, Burirdabri watchtower,  Harikjali watchtower (core zone).

3rd Day-

3rd Day- Sajnekhali(w.t), Sudhanyakhali (W.T), Pirkhali, SarakKhali, Gajikhali, Deul Varani,  Do-Banki (W.T),  Panchamukhani

 

Full itinerary

Day-1

Pickup from Godkhali, canning, or Kolkata.

Welcome Drinks and breakfast, then visit Rabindra Nath Thakur Bangalow and Hamilton Saheb Bangalow Gosaba market. back to the boat.

11.00 am Transfer guests from Godkhali jetty by motor launch to the resort/hotel located in the Sundarbans Islands. This journey would take guests/tourists down the rivers Hogol, Gomar, Durgaduni, and Gumdi in about an hour and a half. 1.30 lunch on the boat, after lunch check-in hotel. 2 hours rest.

4 pm set off on a motorboat and view the wildlife of the Pakhir Jungle.6 pm back to the hotel.

7.00 pm -In the evening we serve snacks with local folk dance presented by local girls and women.

9 pm dinner. Night stay at the hotel.

Day-2

FULL-DAY JUNGLE SAFARI

6.30 am bed tea, 7.30 set off the boat.

The second day involves a full-day cruise through the rivers and narrow creeks of the Sundarban National Park and a lovely birding experience. Food would be prepared and served on the motorboat. Start after bed tea and visit the Two watchtowers of  Burir Dabri and Harikhali. Bagana forest range office and Harikhali WatchTower.

BURIRDABRI WATCHTOWER

our 1st visit Bagna forest office for getting the jungle entry fee. Bagna is a small range office under Jhila forest at Kumirmari Village.

Burir dabri Beat. This is the most offbeat and beautiful watchtower at Sundarban. Here we can find visit often the movement of the Tiger. In low tide time, you may also find a tiger pugmark on the river bank. Walking at Burir dabri is a lifetime experience.

 

The next destination is Harikhali, Harinbhanga, and Katoajhora jungle eastern part of Sundarbans. The most beautiful part of this watchtower is that you can experience the confluence of five different rivers and that serene. This is the place to be called for crocodiles and experiencing their presence is almost certain. It's wonderful to see nature from the watchtower.

 

 Harikhali Beat

 

Our nest spot will be at Harikhali Beat. This is the field of deer, big cats, and lizards. it's a birding paradise. we'll be knowing various trees, Sundari and other Mangrove trees, History, and local people's culture.

 

MORIRJHAPI:

 

A painful history of people. The refugees who occupied legally protected  Sundarban reserve forest land on Marichjhapi. The island will be cleared by the West Bengal government.

Breakfast and Lunch Snacks will provide on the Boat and dinner at Hotel.

 

Day-3

Full-day jungle safari and back to Hotel.

6.30 am bed tea.

 

7.30 start a motorboat.

 

8.00 am next watchtower is the Sudhanyakhali watchtower. of the Sundarban National Park. Most of the Royal Bengal Tigers are sighted from this tower. Some other wildlife like axis deer, wild boars, and varieties of Mangrove plantations are here for introducing tourists. may also be seen from this watchtower. There is a sweet water pond where animals drink water. Behind the pond, one can sight animals from a distance.

 

1.30 lunch on the boat. After lunch, we reach Dobanki watch tower .thIS watchtower is famous for the canopy walk. this walk allows you to view wildlife from a netted enclosure. Next on our itinerary would be the Spotted Deer Rehabilitation Center. Thereafter, enjoy the thrill of cruising deep in the forested area and also around the islands of the Sundarbans Tiger Project area. Let us be guided by our guide to viewing the Mangrove forest from close quarters, deep inside the creeks.

 

4.30 pm Return to the hotel.

 

4th Day

 

6.30 am bed tea.

 

7.30 we will go on to village walk. after 1 hour back to the hotel.

 

8.30 am serve breakfast.

11.30 am Check out hotel.

 

1.30 lunch on the boat.

 

3.00 pm Drop at Godkhali jetty and back to Kolkata.
